The family reunification program has long been a cornerstone of Canada’s immigration policy. Are the senior immigrants, who come to Canada through the family reunification program, a burden on society, or do they have the potential to contribute to it? This question is explored in this 35-minute documentary by following the stories of an elderly Ukrainian musician and other senior immigrants and by drawing on the opinions of experts.
